Exceptional underfloor heating

My experience at Stroend Guesthouse was less than ideal. The small sink in the bathroom was oddly placed under a shelf, making basic tasks like washing my face or brushing my teeth quite challenging. Additionally, the surroundings of the property were not appealing, with a view that faced a scrapyard, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. I felt a significant lack of attention to these details, which made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Stroend Guesthouse has stunning views of the ocean and mountains. The communal kitchen is well-stocked, making meal prep a breeze. A lovely touch was the underfloor heating in my room, which kept things cozy during my stay. The check-in process was simple, and the personal email before arrival made everything easy. The close proximity to beautiful sights and a hot spring is a huge plus. However, some minor inconveniences popped up. The bathroom sink is quite small, making tasks like brushing my teeth a bit tricky. Additionally, the nearby pool could be a bit hotter. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring, but a few tweaks could make the experience even better.

The beautiful long beach nearby offers a perfect escape, complemented by a clean and well-stocked kitchen for meal prep. The new facilities, including spacious communal areas, really stood out during my visit. However, the small bathroom sink made everyday tasks a bit tricky, and the lack of nearby dining options requires planning ahead. Also, the surrounding area could be more visually appealing.

the shared kitchen could definitely use some better organization, but the location was super beautiful with a long beach nearby. underfloor heating in the room was a nice touch and the staff was really accommodating. loved the gorgeous view outside!

I enjoyed the stunning sea view during my stay. The self-check-in was straightforward, although I recommend bringing a guide for first-timers. The communal kitchen made meal prep enjoyable, but be careful of the step down to the patio. it caught me off guard. Overall, a lovely place with a few quirks!

stroend guesthouse was a lovely place to stay. our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with fantastic underfloor heating. we enjoyed the convenience of the spotless shared kitchen, which had everything you need for cooking. plus, it was conveniently near the ferry out of the westfjords, making it easy to explore the area!
